My Club Resume

_For the last 20 years of my life I have dedicated my extra, and valuable, time toward the sport of snowmobiling. I have served as President of 2 clubs,Trail Boss for two clubs, winning a SAM Trail Worker of the year award in 2000. I have been a SAM delegate for 2 clubs over the last 14 years. I am a certified VAST Safety Course Instructor, completing my last class January 7th, 2012. I have created many signs for safety and information kiosks for trail information.







My assigned duties:
  •     Snowmobile Association of Massachusetts Club Delegate.
  •     L.S.C.Club Trail Boss.

Also, I volunteer for the following unassigned duties:

Public Relations:
  •     Web Master for leicestersnowmobileclub.com
  •     Facebook Administrator
  •     Email representing the club responses.
  •     Representation at monthly SAM meetings.
  •     Representation at the SAM Expo.
  •     Representation at the SAM Annual Meeting.
  •     Posting of club representation on the SAM magazine "On The Trails"
  •     Posting of trail updates on sledmass.com
  •     Creation of the Landowner Information Package to give to landowners to answer questions.
  •     Update of the trail maps. Overlay created with my personal equipment.
  •     Landowner permission / issue resolution.
  •     Contact with Highway Department.



Financial Benefit:

  •     Creation and submission of the Grooming Contract with SAM. (Last year contributed $300.00 to the club)
Club / Grooming:

  •     Use of personal groomer for one third of the trail system.
  •     Used personal groomer for SAM contract. Money went to the club.
  •     Repaired groomer using personal funds.
  •     Self funded gasoline costs.
  •     Submitted weekly grooming contract data to SAM for reimbursment. 
  •     Worked on the clubs grooming equipment to get it running.



Trail Signage:
  •     Created and installed 8 location kiosks throughout  the trail system.
  •     Updated maps and information for the kiosks.
  •     Installed hundreds of safety signs on the 20 mile loop.
  •     Used personal equipment for trial clearing. (golf cart)
  •     Donated over 300 hours clearing trails.
