B & B Power Groomers

Where did the name come from? Well, we picked up two old Alpines around town that were in need of major repair. Hob (Belt) saw the great use of them, somewhere amongst the horse manure and weeds. They were "sisters" from a snowmobile club from the 70's here in Leicester, purchased from a company named B & B Power. The name was on the hoods and it fit well for us. We turn the name as needed, Brad & Belt Power (if I am discussing it) or Belt & Brad Power (If Hob is discussing it). He (and I) worked hard on the units until we produced some working products. Not much to look at but they cruise the trails more than the newer ones do, or so it seems. So now B&B has; Barely Able (71), Maybe Able (67), Big Bertha (69) and our newest addition, Izzy Able (78).

This is the newest addition to the B & B Family. 1978 Alpine that was gone through. It seems ready to go. Notice the plug on the back box. (rear shot) Also the triangle arm coming out the front. That is for the hydraulics on the new drag. The drag is ready and so is the Alpine, finally !

"78" Alpine Improvements to the Ski

Charlie Derosier, Jim Comeau and Mike Kharmann pulled the 78 Alpine in on Friday. On Saturday afternoon they called and told me to come and get it out of the garage. They successfully replaced the single ski to a two ski rig that can pivot between the skis.
